Name: Lucas Zacharias Taylor
Age // Year: 18 / 7th
blood: Pureblood
Personality Lucas is not very complex. Despite what his friends might say, he is actually very simple. He enjoys Quidditch, which is something many boys love. Many wizards love the sport, so it really isn't all that surprising. He plays for the Slytherin team as a Chaser, and loves the thrill of the sport. He has never been to a game besides one at school. It goes along with Quidditch, but Lucas also enjoys being outside in general. Whether it be swimming in the Black Lake, sneaking into the Forbidden Forest, or just sitting around on the lawns, he likes being outside. He doesn't sunburn, he tans.
But on to the boy's personality. He comes across as a jerk to most anyone outside his circle of friends, and rarely puts up with someone of a different house. His middle name, Casimir, means "to destroy peace", and he has lived up to that name. Considering the fact he is a Slytherin kind of puts any ideas to rest that he isn't slightly evil. He is. He can turn a pleasant conversation into an arguement, but he usually tries to avoid it since it ruins most of his conversations if he does. As said before, he can be a jerk, and he knows it. He is intelligent, and does well in most of his classes. 'Well' does not mean he passes them with flying colors. 'Well' means he gets by, whether it be by cheating, studying, or any combination of the two.
He is rather quiet, which may come as a surprise since he's a Slythergit. He chooses his words carefully, never wanting to say very much but always wanting to say something rather rude when it concerns someone of an opposing house. When a professor asks for an answer, he gives the answer as quickly as possible. He does not like to ramble. He doesn't want to write a novel. He gets to the point in his homework and his speech, something that can be a very good thing, and kind of bad. He is a dependable and determined young man. If asked to do something, he gets it done. Simple. He always finishes his homework, though it isn't always right.
History: Lucas Zacharias Taylor was born on October 29th, eighteen years ago. He was born to Theodore and Verity Taylor, both of whom loved him very much and were happy to see him. If they didn't love him, they obviously weren't very good parents. The family lived near London, close enough they could get to Diagon Alley quickly enough when Lucas was to attend Hogwarts, but far enough away so Lucas wasn't going to be going out and meeting Muggles. They lived in a (near) wizarding community, and Lucas grew up knowing all wizard children. Though he doesn't talk about, nor has ever mentioned it to anyone, he was friends with a Muggle girl down the street. They were very close, but as time went on they just stopped talking. The girl had no idea why. Lucas did.
At the age of five his parents bought him a toy broom, and he quickly became an excellent flier. He tried out for the Slytherin team in his fourth year, though we aren't to that part of his history and will simply continue on. His parents bought him a dog when he was seven, and he and the dog were very good friends. Until the Muggle girl's father ran it over. The girl's father never told the girl, which was why she was so confused about why Lucas stopped talking with her. He got over the dog, by the time he was twelve, but he never went to talk to her again. Apparently she tried to visit him, and came to his house when he wasn't home. She didn't know that, but thought his parents would be friendly enough and explain what had really happened. She rang the bell, and Lucas' father appeared. He had no idea who she was, so simply accepted her as one of his boy's friends. He invited her in, and immediately she spotted half a dozen things magical. Lucas then arrived, and quickly told his dad she was a muggle. He wiped her entire memory, a complete accident, but one which was brought about by his surprise and anger. Lucas had made friends with a muggle. The girl couldn't remember anything when she came to, and her father had no idea what to do.
At the age of nine he fell from his toy broom when he was fairly high up, and earned himself two scars on the bottom of his left foot. Three years later, at age twelve, he received his Hogwarts letter. He was sorted into Slytherin, and he was older than nearly everyone in his year, and liked that idea. He was taller, too, which was a plus. In his fourth year he tried out for the Slytherin Quidditch team. Now in his last year... he's very happy.
